Paths is the second instalment in Stephen and I’s ’12 Hour Films’ series. It was written, shot, scored and edited in a 12 hour timeframe.
We’ll be honest, we’re not entirely sure what this one is… but we do know we had a right hoot making it.
With that in mind, shifting the focus of filmmaking away from creating the most ideal finished product and moving it more towards finding immense gratification in the process itself is the very reason we started this challenge the first place – and so far its been a top laugh, so that’s nice! Anyway, here’s to another one!
Again, we hope you at least enjoy some of it.
That is such a good challenge idea, I’m so impressed with how quickly you made that in – it looks like you had a lot of fun making it too! Whenever I made my short films it would take months for me to even settle on an idea, that’s why I stick to documentary now haha! Really enjoyed, looking forward to seeing what else you post. 🙂

Thanks for the lovely comment, Caitlin! We did have a lot of funny making it, especially as we had no idea what it was going to be until we got into the cutting room, which is where the bulk of the hilarity occurred for us!
I love the documentary format, I’ll be sure to check out some of your work! The first film we made in this series was called ‘Atoms’ (https://youtu.be/DetKAu8fL60) which certainly has documentary spine to it!
