‘A Day in the Life of a Sales Consultant’ is the first in a series of 8 recruitment style videos I created for furniture giant Oak Furnitureland, during my time as a Director / Editor at Cardiff based video production agency Wordley Creative.
Armed with 2 Canon C300s, I had a lot fun directing over the course of a full day in an enormous Swindon store. It’s always fun working with real staff members, and it’s equally fun working in a smaller creative team where you have to shoot pragmatically, in a somewhat guerrilla style manner, because the store is open as usual.
It’s shoots like these I have the most fun editing too – you’re usually able to find the best and loveliest shots (that always seem to make the final edit) within the outtakes.
I had an incredible amount of fun working on this 3 part series for Funky Pigeon as a Camera Operator.
All episodes were flash mob style, live, one take setups shot using the Sony FS7 with CN7 zoom – a devilish duo for filmmaking!

During this time I was mainly found writing scripts, editing offline adverts and directing weekly VO’s for a host of TV and digital campaigns.

Working with FreePrints on this short form social media campaign was a really enjoyable experience. This ended up being a really wholesome shoot – interviewing a series of people taking immense joy in revisiting some of the photos that capture their most favourite memories.
