Blue Amber – Welsh Girl (Lyric Video)

This was such a lovely little project to work on! Go check it out if you like good music and supporting your local scene.

The premise of this video was to keep things fairly simple – armed with just the tracks cover artwork and a brief to be expressive within that remit.

The new single from Cardiff based band Blue Amber, released through Rose Parade Recording Co. on March 1st 2021. Features sections of Jessica Risker’s song ‘Anyway When I Look in Your Eyes’. Lyric video, visuals and animation created by mcpake media.

Pet Deaths – Lola or Lolita (Live @ Sofar Sounds Cardiff)

A track taken from Pet Deaths mesmerising Sofar Sounds Cardiff set at the cities Sull Space.

Amongst the footage recorded that night, I found this additional track ‘lola or lolita’ which features on the bands debut album ‘To the Top of the Hill and Roll…’ It felt wrong to let such a beautiful performance sit unseen on a hard drive, so I felt obliged to share this almost forgotten edit.
