Working for Renishaw, I had the pleasure of shooting, edited and producing the below customer case study for luxury, bespoke bicycle brand J.Laverack.
Described as the world’s most bespoke, most advanced and most meticulously engineered road bike – It’s safe to say my 10 year old fixie suddenly feels rather inadequate.
Working for Renishaw, I recently had the opportunity of attending a British Cycling Olympic track bike testing day as a videographer.
It was there I had the privilege of documenting the testing of the new Olympic track bike ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This summer I had the pleasure of bringing together the 2023 highlight reel for the truly fantastic, up-and-coming Devon based music festival known as Bewildered.
Across two and a half days, I documented the wide array of musical talent on offer, as well as the incredible festival site itself – which was brought together by a plethora of incredibly talented local artists and creatives – all of whom made it exceptionally hard to condense the magic of the weekend into just a 2 minute reel.

Typically, I found myself shooting and editing multi-channel content for their socials, often highlighting the great people who make up their organisation. In this instance, it was members of the Wheelchair Performance Programme and Visually Impaired Tennis Club.
Wildflower is the first instalment of filmmakers Alex McPake & Mac Nixon’s ‘Places’ series.
‘Places’ is an experimental collaborative project between the two that flips the process of traditional filmmaking by shooting interesting locations and then constructing a narrative retrospectively.

I had such a fantastic day filming and chatting with the very talented Richard Meyrick Guitars about his craft and guitar making passions for this project. Sifting through endless 4K 60fps footage of Richards process made the edit a joy to put together too.

Paths is the second instalment in Stephen and I’s ’12 Hour Films’ series. It was written, shot, scored and edited in a 12 hour timeframe.
We’ll be honest, we’re not entirely sure what this one is… but we do know we had a right hoot making it.
With that in mind, shifting the focus of filmmaking away from creating the most ideal finished product and moving it more towards finding immense gratification in the process itself is the very reason we started this challenge the first place – and so far its been a top laugh, so that’s nice! Anyway, here’s to another one!
